Player John Allan is a former rugby union player who represented both Scotland and South Africa. He played as a hooker during his career. Allan was born in Glasgow, Scotland, and lived there until the age of 8, he then moved to South Africa.
Allan played for Scotland ‘A’ in 1990 - 1991, Allan played 9 test matches and 24 games for Scotland, as their hooker. One of the highlights of this chapter was representing Scotland in the 1991 Rugby World Cup. He also played in 12 test matches for the Springboks, John Allan’s rugby journey took him across continents, and he left a lasting impact on both Scottish and South African rugby.
